Surface Tension holds a quiet, invisible strain, the delicate balance between the self we present to the world and the one we continue to negotiate privately. Much like the physical tension that binds water molecules at the surface, this piece explores the fragility of containment, how much can be held before the surface breaks.

In the image, florals are gently compressed beneath glass. Forms shift and stretch under weight. Water flows across the surface, creating motion, distortion, and flashes of light. Beneath it all, the stillness of the flowers remains, caught between clarity and concealment.

The composition features café latte dahlias, protea, banksia, zinnia, aster, roadside weeds, thistle, wild carrot, and wild blackberry. A visual meditation on how we hold opposing selves in place: what is felt, what is shown, and what quietly endures beneath the surface.

Printed on luxurious cotton rag paper with archival inks. Each limited edition print is individually numbered, embossed with our official seal, and accompanied by a signed certificate of authenticity.
